The Signing

Here is a photo of President George W. Bush signing into law H.R. 1553, the Caroline Pryce Walker Conquer Childhood Cancer Act, at a ceremony in the Oval Office. The bill authorizes $30 million annually over five years, providing funding for collaborative pediatric cancer clinical trials research, to create a population-based national childhood cancer database, and to further improve public awareness and communication regarding available treatment and research for children with cancer and their family. Port A

Joey and Bubba told Brea to throw a french frie in the middle of these girls so the birds would attack them and of course ,the well behaved daughter that she is, did it!

We left Thursday and spent the weekend with our friends who live near Corpus Christi. On Saturday we took the kids to the beach. They had the best time. Brea had the best time feeding the seagulls. They would practically attack her if she had food in her hand.

I am also in the final days of being a stay at home mom. I start my new job as a school nurse on Thursday. I have to say that I'm more excited than sad. Jolea and Luke will start PreK at the same school that I'm working at, and Brea will be in the 5th grade there as well. I feel so blessed to be able to work and be right there with my kids everyday. It is definitely an answered prayer.

Enjoy the pictures!
