Summer summer summertime!

There's a lot of joy up in this house this morning!  We didn't crawl out of bed until nearly 9:00 today.  Don't you love summer?

We're having a great summer!  Last week we visited the aquarium and got passes for the year.  The science nerd in me loves places like this.  The sprinkler park for the kids make it that much better too.  The kids loved it!  Especially Luci! She had a blast.

Luke's been with his grandparents for the last two weeks.  Well I say his grandparents but he's been all over.  I don't think he's ready to come home, but I've been away from him long enough and will be headed to pick him up Monday.  My parents had planned on bringing him home and staying with us a few days but my Dad is unable to travel due to pinched nerve in his back.  Pretty big bummer, so I'm going to stay a couple of day when I pick up Luke.  I can't wait to see him!

We looked at a house last week and nearly bought it.  We actually made an offer but thankfully the realtor didn't call us back!  Someone else beat our offer I guess.  It was a really nice home, had an inground pool and in a nice location, but honestly it just wasn't what we really wanted.  Patience is not my best quality!  I think God is really trying to bring me down a notch.  All of us cramped in this little house, sharing rooms, It's pretty humbling.  Some days I think I'm going to go crazy, but other days we're snuggled up in the living room watching movies together and I love every minute of it.

I know eventually we'll find a home and I've just decided to be patient and let God do whatever he has planned for us here.  When the right home or property comes available we'll know, and we'll be confident in our decision.

For the time being, we are enjoying each moment of each day!  I love having the kids home everyday for the summer.  There's so much fun to be had and so many memories to be made.  I love our big family!
